Project 165 - DIY kit in a wet room

This incredible wet room with fibre optic star ceiling was created for a private customer using a custom fibre harness of mixed 1mm and 0.75mm fibres powered by a MiniLED550 white twinkle lightsource. 

In a tiled project such as this, the fibres are pinned down to the ceiling or wall boards before the tile adhesive is applied. As the tiles are fitted, the fibres are positioned in the spaces between the tiles and then held in place while the remaining tiles are laid. Once the entire area has been grouted and finished, the protruding fibres are clipped back to just above the grout to give a wonderful starry effect.
