Hard wired conversion for a fibre optic light source with transformer plug
Because our light sources use a safe low voltage direct current (DC) to power the LED and internal circuitry, we have use an external 3 pin plug transformer.
This is a very safe system but means that you must provide a suitably switched 240v socket close to the fibre optic installation. In most cases this will not be a problem, however, should you, or your electrician wish to hard wire the light source into the lighting circuit then our ‘Hard Wire Conversion Kit’ is the answer.
The kit consists of a robust 60 watt LED power supply. The 240v input is via a kettle lead that can be wired directly into the 6amp lighting circuit.
